Hodkovičky is a peaceful and green district located right by the River Vltava. The district also offers excellent connections to the centre of Prague. A tram will take you from the Černý kůň stop that’s just 100 metres from the building to Palackého náměstí and its B-line metro station in just 13 minutes.

It’s even quicker to get to the centre by car, of course. And if your destination is not in the city centre, you won’t have to crawl along narrow streets: access to the city ring road is just one kilometre away.

VLTAVA CYCLE PATH

There is an asphalt cycle path along the River Vltava just a few metres from the building. Head north on a bike or roller skates and you’ll be at the Náplavka embankment in the city centre in no time at all. Or head south and upstream to Vraný nad Vltavou, or even as far as the Slapy reservoir.

The cycle path and the nearby 60-hectare Hodkovičky Forest Park are also ideal for a morning jog.

There’s no better place in Prague for sports-minded people to live than Hodkovičky. Tennis, badminton, beach volleyball and squash courts and a nine-hole golf course are just a short walk away.

There are also lots of places for children to have fun, with several playgrounds and even a huge rope park with slides nearby.
